1. Who We Are

Quench is a brand of Sapfir Research & Development s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic. As the data controller, we set the purpose and means of processing personal data related to the platform.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: name, email address, password hash, preferred settings.
Workspace content: lyrics, beats, audio tracks, chat threads, AI prompt history, feedback.
Usage analytics: device type, actions taken in the editor, feature engagement, aggregated telemetry.
Billing data: payment instrument tokens, transaction identifiers, tax details (processed via PCI-DSS compliant partners).

3. Why We Process Personal Data

We process data to deliver core functionality, personalize creative tools, provide customer support, ensure platform security, comply with legal obligations, and deliver product updates. Optional communications (like newsletters) are sent only with your consent and can be withdrawn at any time.

4. AI Features & Data Handling

AI-powered utilities operate on encrypted transport channels. We log prompt metadata to improve suggestion quality, but we do not train general-purpose models on your private lyrics without explicit opt-in. Where we rely on third-party model providers, we contractually require them to honor this restriction or operate the models within our controlled infrastructure.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We share personal data only with vetted subprocessors necessary to run the service—cloud hosting, content delivery, payment processing, product analytics, and customer support. Each partner is bound by data processing agreements that limit use of your data to providing contracted services. We never sell creative content or personal data.

6. International Transfers

When data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we use lawful transfer mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or binding corporate rules. We continually assess partner safeguards to ensure equivalent protection.

7. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your subscription remains active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize personal data within 60 days unless retention is required by law or outstanding contractual obligations. Project owners can delete individual works at any time.

8. Your Rights

You are entitled to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@quench.studio. We respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).

9. Security Measures

Our infrastructure uses encryption at rest and in transit, isolated project containers, tiered access controls, and automated anomaly detection. Staff access is granted on a least-privilege basis and reviewed quarterly. We conduct regular penetration tests and retain incident response protocols.

10. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session continuity, functional cookies for remembering preferences, and optional analytics cookies to understand usage. You can adjust cookie preferences through browser settings or within the in-app privacy console.

11. Updates

We may revise this policy to reflect product evolution or regulatory changes. When updates are significant, we provide prominent notice via email or in-product messaging at least 14 days before the effective date.
